From the original job posting: Join a reputable, first rate child welfare agency serving at-risk youth and their families through residential treatment, education, foster care and older adolescent programs. The Balanced and Restorative Justice Coordinator reports to the Director of Civic Engagement. Plans, coordinates, implements and facilitates various youth leadership and engagement programming including but not limited to Peer Conference, Peace Circles, Accountability Council, Family Advisory Council and Youth Advisory Committee. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to complete documentation of client behaviors and actions utilizing the computer. Requires the ability to utilize both verbal and physical intervention with youth. Physical intervention requires the ability to kneel and return to standing without assistance. May travel to different agency sites to provide programming to clients. Flexible schedule required, including evenings and weekends. Must transport youth in agency vehicles.
