Miller and Schacter note the legitimate place of restorative justice in discourse on criminal justice. The authors argue for the enlargement of restorative justice principles to governance. Therefore, in this article they define what they mean by governance, what they mean by restorative justice, and why they believe restorative principles must go beyond criminal justice to include restorative governance, and what all of this means for victims of crime in particular.
