....What makes this film unique, she says, is getting to meet the person she's playing.
"It's always great being able to do research, and Katy wrote this amazing book [Walking After Midnight: One Woman's Journey Through Murder] I read," Raver, 41, says. "I've asked her so many questions. She's unique, a special woman."
Hutchison was relieved that Raver, with whom she immediately hit it off, "understands it's a tall order" and takes the story seriously.
"I felt like I was walking through the room with an old girlfriend," Hutchison says. "I wanted to pour a cup of tea and talk about us both being moms and 40-ish. She's fun and has an enormous amount of humility."
