Here she sketches mediation in general and the work of Mediation Services of Winnipeg in particular. Locating the practice of mediation in a restorative justice approach to conflict resolution, and Mediation Services in the Anabaptist peace and social justice tradition, she discusses core ideas and practices of mediation, including healing the harm, accountability for the instigator, the role of the mediator, and a wide variety of situations in which mediation would be applicable.
