Downloaded 11 June 2004.Training programs for the court-referred pilots in Auckland attracted a variety of professionals, community co-ordinators, lawyers, and a schoolteacher. Training included role-playing, group discussion, and a video of a mock conference. Trainees presented high levels of skill in communications and cross-cultural work. Discussions proved to be valuable in providing a good overview of restorative justice for future facilitators.
