In this report, the Mennonite Central Committee in Canada argues that the criminal justice system in Canada does not work well for crime control, offenders, victims, or taxpayers. They contend a faulty notion of criminal justice has dominated Western criminal justice systems. They urge a change to a true justice that repairs the harm done by crime, holds offenders accountable for their actions, and protects society.
