The authors summarize key findings from their examination of four studies on the relationship between participation in a victim-offender mediation program and subsequent re-offense within a one-year period. They present the design and key statistics of each of the four studies. Results of the studies indicate a significant reduction in recidivism for juvenile offenders who participated in victim-offender programs.
