In this paper Meyer reflects on foundations for an ecumenical dialogue on peace theology. She considers these foundations in the context of important issues concerning the disjunction between desiring peace and embodying peace. Hence, her study looks at the complex question of peace theology and peace-making. This leads to observations on ecumenical foundations for a theology of peace-making (dialogue among Christian traditions), as well as proposed guidelines on foundations for an ecumenical theology of peace-making.
