The aim of dialogues was to discuss the concept of victim-offender mediation as a practical tool to assist the Truth and Reconciliation (TRC) in dealing with the process of reconciliation. The paper provides a brief overview of victim-offender mediation, a proposed structure for survivor-offender mediation in the South African TRC context, and suggestions for implementing such mediation.
