"In what follows we will deal with some of the general questions related to the applicability of restorative justice to the type of violent conflicts under study. In so doing, we will discuss some of the specific elements, as they emerged in the case studies, in the light of this debate. At the same time, we will try to learn from this research whether and how some of our notions of restorative justice and its principles should be revised or complemented. Otherwise stated, do the findings of our analyses invite a reframing or reformulation of any of the elements or core principles of restorative justice?"(abstract)
