Frustration with the current punitive system has sparked interest in using restorative values in the criminal justice arena, as well as many other areas of life. These arenas include the home (child discipline), church (divisions), work (management), neighbourhood (parking, barking dogs), school (classroom conflicts), and interpersonal relationships (common disagreements). By using restorative justice in these ways, conflicts can be safely handled and relationships can be mended in a variety of ways.
