This is a report of a workshop on “Restorative Justice for Children in Conflict with the Law: Promising Practices and Lessons Learned” that took place on 5 November 2009 and was organised by the Panel Secretariat in collaboration with four Panel members: Foundation Terre des hommes – child relief (Tdh), Defence for Children International (DCI), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The IPJJ’s workshop was part of the 1st World Congress on Restorative Juvenile Justice organized by Foundation Terre des hommes – child relief in collaboration with the Office of the Attorney General of Peru (Ministerio Público, Fiscalía de la Nación), the Catholic University of Lima (Pontifica Universidad Católica de Lima) and Encuentros – Casa de la Juventud, that took place from 4-7 November 2009 in Lima, Peru.
