"While suffering must concern theology today, our concern in this paper is spirituality. I will begin by defining what I understand by suffering. This will be followed by an exposition on the nature of spirituality. I will then attempt to show how spirituality and suffering relate to one another. I will then characterize such a spirituality as hospitable, forgiving and concerned with justice." (abstract)
