The Little Books of Justice & Peacebuilding series is a cooperative effort between the Conflict Transformation Program (Eastern Mennonite University) and Good Books publisher. Books in the series present, in a highly accessible form, key concepts and practices from the fields of restorative justice, conflict transformation, and peacebuilding. This particular book – The Little Book of Restorative Justice – is written by Howard Zehr, a leader in the areas of restorative justice and conflict transformation. In the book Zehr provides an overview of restorative justice, restorative principles, and restorative practices. He also discusses whether the choice is only “either/orâ€? between retributive justice and restorative justice, and between criminal justice and restorative justice. A list of selected readings at the end of the book assists the reader in further study in the field of restorative justice.
