In recent years observers of the long-term shaping of the Australian HIV epidemic as a health matter, have witnessed an unexpected run of legal complaints and cases for homosexual and heterosexual transmission. It appears that an important part of the social drive behind these claims is an unintended effect of positive social movement activity.
