The authors use the “Ending Offending-Our Messageâ€? project as a case study to represent the best practice in offender services. This project works with offenders who are incarcerated for alcohol and drug related offenses. The educational aspect of the program fulfills the requirements of preparing offenders for better opportunities to work by using different programs. In the regards to community reparations and involvements, the offenders use their artwork and advancements in other areas to spread the message about not offending. This aspect allows them to give back to the community.
