In May 1995 the Woodbury Police Department initiated a restorative justice conferencing program for juvenile offenders and those affect by crime. The Center for Restorative Justice & Peacemaking conducted an initial assessment of the program by compiling and analyzing participant satisfaction. This report provides information in six sections: overview of restorative justice and family group conferencing; background on the Woodbury initiative; program description; methodology; findings; and conclusions.
