Hinzman reports on a Community Corrections Improvement Association (CCIA) in Iowa’s Sixth Judicial District Department of Correctional Services. CCIA is the creation of people with a new vision for seeking justice. Hinzman explains the mission, role, and programs of CCIA. A private, nonprofit foundation, it develops new programs that have a positive impact on community corrections. More specifically, it maintains, develops, increases, and extends the facilities and services of community-based corrections agencies in Iowa.
