Pointing out the paucity of biblical studies relating to conflict resolution, Mayordomo explores conflict resolution in the church of the New Testament period. This study deals with the question of unity in the early church, instances of conflict within the church (as indicated in passages in Acts and elsewhere), and Paul’s role as mediator. As for Paul’s role, the author highlights both practical and theological aspects of Paul’s efforts at mediation of conflicts.
