Fay “Honey” Knopp presents the case for a new offense-specific restorative justice paradigm. This paper reviews where we are nationally in the types of therapeutic models and modalities we are using with juvenile sexual offenders, examines some of the concepts undergirding a restorative justice model, and discusses the possibilities of translating a new therapeutic/restorative understanding into public and legal policy.
