The Minnesota Department of Corrections has produced a set of practical materials to guide people who are training others in facilitation of restorative group conferences. Lesson 1 is an introduction to the training. Subjects covered by this lesson include the following: agendas for the three days of training; lesson objectives; an explanation of conferencing, including typical steps in the process; and restorative justice diversity.
