One of the chief aims of restorative justice practices is repair of broken lives and relationships. Many forces – including, but not limited to, actual crime – harm, erode, and destroy individual lives and community life. This article presents concrete incidents in which participation in restorative justice processes enabled people to act in restorative ways in their neighborhoods, thus revitalizing the social well-being of their communities
