In this report prepared for the McKnight Foundation (Minneapolis, Minnesota), Maggie Arzdorf-Schubbe defines and documents the history of restorative justice, describes current practices, and analyzes current trends in the field. Then she looks at restorative justice activities, programs, and services in Minnesota. With all of this in mind, she makes particular observations about restorative justice, identifies key issues, and urges the need to increase the use of restorative justice. The end of the report lists the people she interviewed and the sources she consulted.
