Ed Epp begins by observing that an examination of Baha’i sacred texts in relation to the topic of restorative justice reveals conformity in spirit to restorative justice in certain respects but not in others. In this regard, he illuminates several key spiritual teachings or principles from Baha’i scriptures: the unity of humanity and justice; justice in relation to punishment and reconciliation; and the importance of spiritual education to instill values leading to justice.
