Helen Bowen and Jim Boyack, of Restorative Justice Programmes Ltd., both have experience with community-based restorative justice programmes and were selected to run the facilitator training for New Zealand’s court-referred project. They are pleased with the credentials of facilitators, who must learn to deal with difficult situations of bringing offenders and victims together. They have also together produced the New Zealand Restorative Justice Practice Manual for the Restorative Justice Trust (www.restorativejustice.org.nz).
