This report explores the experiences of offenders being released from Irish prisons. The impetus for the research project came from a 2003 workshop of Dublin community organizations that revealed a need to understand the prison revolving door. The researchers sought input from ex-prisoners on the problems faced upon release and possible solutions. Themes covered include: Homelessness and Accommodation, Drug Use, Health, Money and Keeping Occupied, Family, Reintegration and Community Restorative Justice, Recommendations.
