Thomas Porter is the executive director of JUSTPEACE Center for Mediation and Conflict Transformation. In discussing the foundation and aim of JUSTPEACE, he asserts the conviction that the ministry of reconciliation is the ministry that describes the work of God as well as the ministry to which Christians are called. In other words, the work of mediation and conflict transformation is spiritual work – work that should be grounded in a ministry of reconciliation. Porter goes on to apply these principles to conflict in churches, to love for God and love for others, and to processes for reconciliation and conflict transformation.
Your donation helps Prison Fellowship International repair the harm caused by crime by emphasizing accountability, forgiveness, and making amends for prisoners and those affected by their actions. When victims, offenders, and community members meet to decide how to do that, the results are transformational.
