Since starting the programme in 1997, Prison Fellowship New Zealand (PFNZ) has
implemented the Sycamore Tree run the programme three times at Arohata Prison,
and four times at Rimutaka Prison, and seven times at Hawkes Bay Regional Prison.
They have all been successful, and the anecdotal evidence from both offenders and
victims is that the programme has had a positive impact. (excerpt)
