1. If a young person does not attend the community conference, it is up to the facilitator to assist
the other conference participants to decide whether the conference should be adjourned to
another date to allow the young person another opportunity to attend.
2. If either of the authorised police officer or the victim do not agree with the adjournment, that
will be taken into account but the final decision rests with the facilitator. (excerpt)
