Meanwhile, as I continue to read, listen, talk, and write about restorative justice, and to advocate for it, it has been striking to me that in the literature and practice of restorative justice, at least in this country, I seldom see restorative justice advocates paying much explicit attention to a number of major current issues that, it seems to me, basic restorative justice principles ought to have a lot to say about (a notable exception has been the work of Dennis Sullivan and Larry Tifft).
