This report is an informal qualitative assessment of the effects of restorative justice
conferences on relevant participants in the months and years following the conference. Although
this study was small and not necessarily scientifically representative, the responses of the
participants are fairly consistent with each other and may provide insight into the long term
benefits of restorative justice as well as the areas of the process that require further attention. (excerpt)
