To understand something about the Navajo Peacemaker Court way of conflict resolution, it is important to consider Navajo philosophy. This discussion in addition to a survey of the Navajo method and goal of healing will help us to see how Navajo justice is a form of healing. Additionally, this chapter will show how some Jungian ideas can be applied in interpreting Navajo concepts relevant to healing. (excerpt)
