The WAFAS Forum convened to formulate a new approach that offers meaningful justice in the context of sexual assault. The author unambiguously favors criminal justice responses and suggests specialization as a pragmatic approach to improving the quality of experience for victims and alleged offenders. Restorative justice is discussed as one avenue of specialization that may achieve the desired result, meaningful justice.
