Using examples from real life as well as interviews with experts, Lampman highlights the growth of restorative interventions on behalf of victims of crime – interventions such as victim-offender mediation. In this context she explores the nature and role of forgiveness in the aftermath of crime. She deals with issues related to forgiveness as they pertain both to victims and offenders.
