Buckinghamshire Youth Offending Service (YOS) is a multi-agency team (from Social Services, Police, Education, and Health) working to prevent and reduce youth offending. This document consists of a review of the work of the YOS in 2002 and a projection of goals and objectives for 2003 and 2004. In significant detail, the plan update covers a summary of the YOS performance in 2002; a sketch of their prevention strategy; YOS governance and resources; performance targets for 2003 and 2004; and identification of two initiatives in pursuit of a learning and development strategy for the YOS.
