Thokoza is a place deeply scarred by a past of intense political violence and crime. As a way of peacemaking and reconciliation, the Gauteng Council of Churches established a peace centre at Kwa Thema. Since its inception in 1995, this peace centre has done much to help the victims of violence and to resolve deep- seated conflicts in the area. Your donation helps Prison Fellowship International repair the harm caused by crime by emphasizing accountability, forgiveness, and making amends for prisoners and those affected by their actions. When victims, offenders, and community members meet to decide how to do that, the results are transformational.
