Harry Albright writes in this article about discussions on restorative justice at the Friends World Committee Triennial in July 2000. At the Triennial, attendees heard information on Quaker efforts to promote restorative justice at United Nation’s meetings on criminal justice. They also listened to urgings for Friends (Quakers) to increase their support for restorative justice and prison reform, such as the issue of women in prison and the impact on their children.
