The DEAL.org program is an Internet resource that is part of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Drug Awareness Service. Connecting young people from many backgrounds and providing information to them on violence, intolerance, and drugs, the purpose of DEAL.org is to build a sense of ownership and responsibility among youth with respect to their communities. DEAL.org is sponsored by the RCMP, but it functions as a program for youth and by youth to assist young people, community leaders, educators, and heads of youth-oriented organizations in community-based problem-solving.
