In this editorial Katrien Lauwaert surveys both the content of this issue of the newsletter and the current activities of the European Forum for Victim-Offender Mediation and Restorative Justice. In that this issue follows the second Annual General Meeting of the Forum, Lauwaert summarizes some of the key matters discussed at the meeting. For example, following the launch of the Forum in December 2000, significant lessons have been learned with respect to the realistic capacity of the members’ participation in the work of the Forum’s key program committees. Additionally, the newsletter contains articles on other matters brought up at the meeting, particularly those that relate to victim-offender and restorative justice developments in various countries (e.g., Ireland, Belgium, Poland, and Finland).
