This article will explain in detail the Levin College of Law Juvenile Mediation Clinic.The article will first explain the mediation training received by the law students; then the principles of mediation and restorative justice will be discussed. Next the conference process will be described in
detail beginning with the step-by-step procedures we follow, including the importance of screening to
include only appropriate cases. Finally, the article will discuss evaluation of restorative justice
conferencing in general and the Levin program in particular. (excerpt)
