The Minnesota Department of Corrections has produced a set of practical materials for people training to facilitate restorative group conferences. Lesson 1 is an introduction to the training. Subjects covered by this lesson include the following: agendas for the three days of training; lesson objectives; and an explanation of conferencing, including typical steps in the process. This lesson is supplemented by other lessons and related materials, also produced by the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
