The Minnesota Department of Corrections has produced a set of practical materials to guide people who are training others in facilitation of restorative group conferences. Lesson 2 deals with conferencing and restorative justice. Subjects covered by this lesson include the following: lesson objectives; values and concepts of restorative justice; primary stakeholders; victim-offender mediated dialogue; family group conferencing; large group conferencing; peacemaking circles; and roots and goals of restorative group conferencing.
