How to respond to violent crime? Ask the victims of crime

December 24, 2012

This statute provides for the many needs voiced by crime victims including a right to restorative justice. RJI is strongly in support of this approach and this right for all crime victims. There are many other rights in this statute that move the justice system, on the state level, towards giving victims rights after they have become survivors of violent crime or they are the family members of victims of violent crime.
