An account of the effects of Rwandan Evangelical Friends’ program Alternatives to Violence (AVP) which is working to reconcile communities split apart by the ethnic genocide in Rwanda. The article includes many personal stories of people who were affected by the violence as well as stories of transformation as a result of AVP.
