“I don’t know what God’s justice is for me… I do know that God is faithful….”

Radunsky, Pam

Source: (2001) Update: The Church Council on Justice and Corrections (Winter): 5.

Pam Radunsky is a board director with the Church Council on Justice and Corrections (based in Ottawa, Ontario). She is also a co-victim of crime – her sister, Kristen French, was murdered in 1992. In 2001 she attended the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Church Council on Justice and Corrections, the focus being to discuss God’s justice and religious reasons for punishment. Here Radunsky reflects on her experience at the AGM as both a board director and a co-victim of a terrible crime. She learned about the work of the Council, but she also learned much about her personal exploration of God’s justice, punishment, and forgiveness. Unsure of what precisely God’s justice is in the her own circumstances, she is nevertheless sure of God’s faithfulness. See http://www.ccjc.ca/news/newsletter.cfm.
