Letter to the editor

July 4, 2010

The program allows the offender to take responsibility for their actions, to understand how their behavior affected the community and others and what can be done to repair the harm his or her actions have caused.

The program is run almost entirely by volunteers. Estes Park is fortunate to have this program and I am grateful to have been allowed to participate in it. I have recently completed my community service, which has inspired and motivated me to work with the community in a positive way.

I would like to thank Mike Crabbs and all the community volunteers who have taken time out of their personal lives to help guide me through this excellent program.

Sincerely,

RJ Offender
