The Right Honorable Tony Blair, Prime Minister, congratulates the Thames Valley Partnership in this letter in honor of its five-year anniversary. He observes that the Partnership has been a forerunner in a now well-established trend in multi-agency partnerships to reduce crime and enhance community safety. Moreover, he acknowledges that the Partnership has exerted influence beyond its own sphere: the government has put in place measures to benefit the whole of the country from the application of this holistic approach to community problems.
