One small step for man; One giant leap for a broken family.

To achieve justice that is fairer and more comprehensive, I am one of those who believe that
incarceration alone is not sufficient. Although
it is important, as I see it, incarceration should
be a complementary tool. The same is often
true for the victim. Many times I have heard
victims express their desire to talk to their attacker.
They say that this step adds to or helps
them in their process of forgiveness and/or
improving their life. Very often, whether or not
you agree, many offenders return to live with
their family. These families need to be supported in this process in order to accomplish
both reparation and prevention. Although this
project is not possible in all contexts, here is
one example where it was applied. (excerpt)

Your donation helps Prison Fellowship International repair the harm caused by crime by emphasizing accountability, forgiveness, and making amends for prisoners and those affected by their actions. When victims, offenders, and community members meet to decide how to do that, the results are transformational.
