OVA mediation program for victims of violent crime

This issue of the newsletter of the Office of the Victim Advocate (Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, Harrisburg, PA) provides an overview of that office’s program for mediation between victims of violent crime and their perpetrators. It covers the genesis of the program, the mediation process, information on selection and training of volunteer mediators to facilitate the mediation, and a brief set of statistics on the program. It also includes an insert with testimonials from facilitators and victims about their experience of mediation.
