Parole and Probation Office tutors stakeholders on restorative justice in the Philippines

These Restorative Justice Models include victim-offender mediation, conferencing, circle of support, and peacemaking encounter, which will be discussed by PPO II Lovella C. Libertad, PPA-DOJ 8 Regional RJ Coordinator.

….Restorative Justice is one of the thrusts of PPA-DOJ, which is being used by the Agency in the rehabilitation of its clients. It seeks to heal the effects of the crime or wrongdoing suffered by the respective stakeholders, which include the victim, the offender and the community with the end in view of preventing the further commission of crime and delinquency.
